No, it was an early model Terminator. Made out of Meccano - it couldn't go up and down stairs, would spin out of control when it got wet and couldn't say the phrase "I'll be back" due to faulty voice software that couldn't understand apostrophes and would instead replace them with the theme tune from Beverly Hills Cop (Alex F).
It was a bit rubbish.
T1000: that's the daddy.

Have to feel sorry for Durham: first of all their 20/20 semi is cancelled and now this.

Nearly as bad as last year. Infact we haven't seen summer since 2006!!!
(Although not according to PlanetPakistan because if its dry at Wimbledon it's a hot summer )

I know this is the Dinosaur's at the ECB we're talking about but...
It's a 20/20 game, the new dynamic face of cricket! If they knew a day in advance that the match was going to be called off couldn't they tootle off down South to somewhere with a bit more sun? I'm sure the Rose Bowl or Taunton or somewhere wouldn't mind hosting it. They could share the profits with Durham.
I know there's a few logistical issues, but it would be better than nothing...

I was thinking the same thing. If you offered a county ground not in use this week a 20/20 game, they would bust a gut to stage it.

Takes longer than you think to set up all the cameras etc. It's a huge logistical operation.
I'm sure they would manage it for a deciding ashes test but not for a poxy T20

It's been "End of the World" weather down here for the last couple of days.
Forget summer - we've skipped straight to winter.
