He's the ultimate team man. He went out with a list to buy sandwiches for his team members. But nobody wanted a HS (Ham Sandwich).

Faldo's team look disjointed and there's still overhanging debate over who and who shouldn't have been picked overhanging the golf.
Will be close though.

Hey skulls - did you watch the Goonas nearly give it away last night?
Great game but we still dodgy at the back - Sagne of all people - just as well Gallas lifted his game as a forward in the dying minutes!!

Nah, didn't see it Merls. EPL coverage ain't the best in Aus. They think a 1 hour highlights show on Monday is good enough for us convicts.

Fark - that's bad man.
The Far East (Singa, Thailand ec) get the full monty - live ! (3 am theirs, in the morning)
Actually discussed the entire game with a mate of mine in S'pore when signing on this morning.
Guess that's where the PL "supporters" and punters all hang out (other than in New Delhi !! )

Re: Ryder Cup
Well, to be fair, we do get live EPL on weekends on Foxy. But the time difference has all the games at midnight or 4-5 am. Mid-week games aren't quite as reliable. Even so, us workin' blokes find it hard to sit up between midnight and 4 to watch a mid-week EPL game.
I shouldn't whinge, I actually love the 1 hour highlights show on Monday.

I love the Ryder Cup. If nothing else, all those ever so gentlemanly gentlemen become rowdy footy players.

Aye. Was pretty tedious and "meh" back in the 70s and 80s but really took off in the 90s. I love the unbridled passion that both sides have for the contest.
The Yanks did the Ryder Cup a great favour with their gross wankfest when Justin Leonard sank that monster putt to win in the States a few years back. The carryings-on of the Seppos really set this contest up to be a throat-slashing event.

Re: Ryder Cup
I've never subscribed to the theory that golf is a gentleman's game just because they call shots on themselves and the what not. They only do that because there's three thousand spectators 10 feet from them and a couple of hundred cameras. Plus there's always a bit of niggle and games manship. Just ask Scottish fans what they think about Faldo after a Dunhill Cup final one year.
Every sport is like that in some respect with the exception of Ladies Lawn Bowls where you should go to a pennant final armed with a lawyer, a ruler and a hitman.
