Well, when I was 12, I was only at the stage of flashing my knickers under the desk to the boys sitting opposite. They were doing the same, I hasten to add . . .

You know society is fecked when a queue of teenage boys are lining up to say they've shagged the monster from the back of beyond.
Agree with Bob, we're fecked. The government will be paying these little scrotes benefits for years.

In America, they plan to have Sex Education from the Age of 8 to 16.
Maybe we need that awareness over here.
Kids/Parents are going to be watching this Alfie story and its going to increase in the next decade.

I think any govt approved sex education in the US is along the lines of "do it and burn in hell".
Falls down somewhat after the randy brat does it for the first time and thinks, "If this is the price of admission to purgatory, I'm gonna pay it."

The Parents must be loving the Benefits little Alfie is bringing in. It really is an absolute disgrace to Britain.
There's probably more of this Sh!t flying around, but this case has highlighted the underlaying problem. I just think when you're in your "Teens" thats 13-20, that kids should not be on peoples minds. I certainly know people my age who are young parents and while its up to them what they do with their lives, I believe they should have given life more thought before making the jump.

Well, in the old days, the kids went down mines and up chimneys to help their parents. Now they get pregnant, or pretend they've been kidnapped and go up to see Max Clifford.

Because these days, in Britain, being famous is teh most important thing. It doesn't matter if your famous for being a racist, foul-mouthed, ignorant slapper, or for being a dead-set dickhead 13 year old who decided to go for a ride on the 15 year-old town bike, as long as you're famous.Bradman wrote:Why are these idiots holding up their hands for a lifetime of trouble let alone financial mayhem.
The magazine deals can't be worth that much surely.
And Alfie's 'celebrity agent' must be used to handling paternity suits from immature dickheads like footy players, rock stars and the assorted like.
The rest of the world will inexorably follow this path, but in recent years Britain has taken over from the US as the world leader in 'fame for fame's sake'.
I think it was in the Incredibles:
Mum: You're special, but so is everybody else.
Kid: Which is just a way of saying nobody is.

Re: Also in the news . . .
Hhmmnn! Supposedly our hearts are in Britain, our security is based on an extremely loose alliance with the Yanks and geographically we're part of Asia.
I suppose that means we wring our hands at the breakdown of moral values in Britain, bitch at the loopedy loop moral remedies of the Yanks and close our eyes to the plight of females in Muslim countries.
Our only friends might then be the Kiwis and that's safe enough because abuse of sheep or a neighbouring country's social security system is not yet part of the UN Charter.

Terrible story in every way. Also awful that it was all over every newspaper over the weekend. Was there any need for the media to go so overboard with this story?

The pond life in this country can't get enough of it, and as others have said multitudes of the rest of the scummers will all be seeing this as an opportunity to climb aboard the gravy train.

Re: Also in the news . . .
from Popbitch:
In news that will shock literally no-one, rumours abound that the current poster- children of ‘Broken Britain’, 13 year-old Alfie Patten and his 15 year-old girlfriend Chantelle Steadman, didn’t actually bash their pubescent parts together and make little baby Maisie after all.
In fact, it was someone a lot more ‘mature’ than young Alfie. But, like a slightly less retarded version of Karen Matthews, all parties involved decided it might be a good opportunity to milk some cash (estimated at half a million by Max Clifford, who yes, has stuck his oar in already) out of the various documentary and interview offers that have duly rolled in, by plonking a 13 year-old at the helm of the good ship ‘F*cked Up’. Watch for every other bum-fluffed teen that might have had a go now scrambling to get in on the act.

Child labour in the mines and chimneys is gone, and many kids are barely literate. Are you surprised, then, that they indulge their genetic inclination towards narrow dark tunnels and help others become parents?Demelza wrote:Well, in the old days, the kids went down mines and up chimneys to help their parents.
