Australia
I saw the film today. Some of the shots of the Australian landscape are spectacular, but the acting is all pretty cheesy. 6.5/10.
Something about Nicole Kidman always annoys me....Probably the consistently bad acting? Brian Brown saved the day as usual....

I liked that movie 'The man who went up a hill and came down a mountain'......Was that reflective of the Welsh?

At least he's comical with his bad acting. Kidman is just cringeworthy.

Kidman was always a wooden actor but all that Botox might have just drawn more attention to this.

There is nothing about this film that gives me the urge to go and see it.
Baz Luhrmann, puh-lease.

Baz is a qunt. Whichever studio exec gave him that much money to produce a two hour rip-off of Pearl Harbour (which wasn't that great anyway) needs to be put dowwn with extreme prejudice.

Re: Australia
Luhrmann is looking more and more like Mick Malthouse, which is quite worrying.
And given that this is only his fourth feature film, I don't see why he's hailed as some sort of Messiah. He's the Dave Warner of the Aus movie industry.
