Windies must have lost 30 runs with poor groundfielding.

No surprise in that. The team's new fitness coach is Steve Folkes (ex-NRL coach in Aus). He recently said they have absolutely no discipline whatsoever. They are addicted to KFC, and even though he has banned the grease from their diets, he finds empty wrappers hidden everywhere.

PMSL. So they ain't gonna improve, mon. farao

Flintoff played intelligently. No point in him blasting away and getting out while KP was at the other end.

Prior played well too, kept turning the strike over. All in all, a good day's play.

Clearly not for the devotees of four an over batting though! Wink

And England must lost the same amount of runs because of the slow outfield.

KP seemed to think it was worth 280 on a proper outfield.

Strangely Englands price has shortened after a 1st day in which they're 236-5, so maybe there is something in that.

Even stevens for me. 350 puts us in a half decent position but we're capable of folding for 260

Not sure about that ... after the first half dozen overs their quicks weren't exactly doing the biz, (was all down to 51 overs of spin @ 1.94 rpo) ... so even with the new ball due this morning, methinks with Fred and Prior batting as they did yesterday we're in with a decent shout of 350 TBH.

There was serious yap going on out in the middle, strangely enough NOT involving the bald one but Flintoff.
Mind you, Fred was giving as good as he got ... with a grin and in his best "Watch the windows Tino" style directed at Powell (who seems to think he's a world beater every ball he bowls!)

Aye true ... but I loved his tennis shot at an attempted Powell bouncer that didn't get up too far!
Both Beefy and Cozier called "Fifteen Love" together across their mics!

Powell sums up all that is wrong with West Indian cricket. He thinks he's king sh!t but he's just dross.

PMSL. So they ain't gonna improve, mon. farao

I can see this ending badly for Folkes just like it ended badly for Chappell and Henry who tried to instill some discipline.

Methinks the combo of the genes, the ganga, the rum and the weather means that the word "discipline" simply does not exist in the Caribbean dictionary these days.

Agree ... it's the verbal and stare, followed by the arrogant Viv Richards swagger after each ball that has me creased up on the floor!
Absolute tosser ...

Edwards is carrying a yip knee and Taylor guarantees four-balls ... They're missing Bravo ... .
