Never underestimate the ability of our side to implode when their mindset is not quite right.
Having said that this really should be a draw given the quality of the England bowlers and the pitch.

Go bowlers!
Don't care if WI lose but these bowlers(massive underdogs) need some support

Cozier is the most prolific taker of West Indian wickets in test match history

Smith looking in no trouble at all so expect the ball to go straight to gully at some point in the next 5 overs.

Good session for Windies that, but the fact is England got Gayle out and so any thoughts of getting near England's total in quick time have been erased.
Sarwan is looking in supreme form again.

Don't see where the other 19 wickets are coming from, I'm afriad.
Unless the Windies totally implode, this game has got high-scoring draw written all over it.

Ryan Hinds is in next and he is under serious pressure. Anything is possible still, but I agree a draw is most likely.

Sidebottom's done nothing to justify his recall yet - precious little swing on offer. Amjad Khan would, at least, have offerred some pace.

Aye. Flaaaaaaaaaaaaat. Roaaaaaaaaaaaaad.
You never know with the WI though, they were cruising at various stages of the last game. They're still a heap of runs behind - get Sarwan & Chanders and they need 400 don't forget. Scoreboard pressure & all that.

As well as Ravi. Bop played, I can't help thinking that Adil Rashid should have played in this match.

Re: West Indies v England, 4th Test, Bridgetown - Feb 26-Mar 2
England don't look to have a hope in hell of taking twenty wickets at any point in this series. The Windies have their lead (in the series) and flat pitches will be all we'll see until the end of the piece. Maybe it's very pessimistic of me, but I think this series is lost already looking at what we've got at our disposal. Even with the huge weight of scoreboard pressure, West Indies have been able to bat with absolute freedom, rarely being placed under any pressure by what is a very poor and unincisive (not a real word) England attack. Sidebottom looks permanently injured at the moment and one has to wonder why England keep playing the like of him and Flintoff at times when they always seem to be on the cusp of another injury. Sidebottom will be an important part of the team in home series where the pitches suit his bowling. We have to accept that he is neither in good form nor good physical shape at the moment and give him time to peak for the English summer. As for the rest of this series, we're in trouble. I suppose it goes to show that, when an England batting line-up is being made to look good, the pitches really are too good to be true. Anything other than a high-scoring and ridiculously boring draw from here would be a huge surprise to me having seen how poorly we've bowled in this session just gone.
Most worryingly of all with England's attack is the way in which one or two batsmen per series completely dominate them, often without ever looking in danger of getting out. I don't notice the same sort of trend with other teams around the world, it's almost as if England have given in to the inevitability of a Sarwan getting a hundred each time he comes out to bat instead of actually devising ways either to get him out or to limit his scoring options. Not only has he dominated England completely in this series, he has scored freely. And frankly, meaning no disrespect to Sarwan, he is hardly the cream of the crop in terms of batsmen worldwide. Just think of what Ricky Ponting will do to this attack, just think of what all of a strong Australian batting line-up will do to this attack. Because they have seven out and out batsmen. That's why, without wishing to get ahead of myself like others and appear to be concerning myself solely with the Ashes, it is with great trepidation that I look upon the future. I see an improving Australian side edging towards its peak against a consistently rubbish and flat looking England side. Australia can make big scores on any pitch from any position and the likes of Johnson, Siddle and Hilfenhaus all look good for wickets. Who, apart from Kevin Pietersen, can England look upon and say 'he's reliable.'
No-one. Not even Andrew Flintoff any more. Maybe Strauss, but that's still a maybe for me, much as I've got great man-love for the guy.

That's what this pitch needs - a 60 mph pie-chucker.

You wait and see, we'll do these no problem.
And Gussie, cut that depressing stuff out - Beefy has assured us we'll win the Ashes. Nothing can go wrong.

I'm beginning to think that Sibo is a throwback to the "English conditions only" generation of bowlers like Geoff Arnold, Mike Hendrick etc, i.e. bugger all to offer when the ball doesn't swing or jag around off the seam.

Had to pop out during most of our bowling - what speeds was he flinging them down at?
