TBH, seeing how Kallis fared against our best who were in decent nick, I'd surmise he'd have done OK against hostile, good bowling.

Hmm, 625 runs in five tests with three centuries against Hoggard / Harmi / Fred / SiBo.

Harmi was in arguably the worst nick of his career in that series, but Hoggard probably the best.
