Clearly it's been a few years since you last saw him Trevie ....
He's leaner - skippered Kent to the final against Mddsx last year - has adapted well to T20 - is respected on the circuit - fields sharply - has NO ego to carry - and yeah - IMO would make a bloody side better captain than either KP or Fred in the hitngiggle T20.

Napes will get a go in the T20 i'm sure of it - we've got nothing to lose given how crap we are.

He can ping it high 80's too.

So, he could well be a more hit-able version of Mark Ealham and go the distance and could well find himself holeing out to long off on the bigger international grounds.... but then who cares? It's only T20 after all...

The difference between Napier and Ealham though is that Ealham is actually good. He was pretty good when he played for England but even that didn't count much for him in the days of England being utter shit.

Dravid, Tendulkar and Azharuddin with figures of 6/111 on debut; Mark Ealham is GOD.
