Perhaps it will stop Big Dog and Lardy bumping that other thread

Makes you wonder who the defending Moo Moo champions are and who the defending Franger champs are.

I went to the Qld v Tas game. Ashley Noffke bowled beautifully. Not only did he take 5 wickets, but he beat the defensive bat repeatedly - at least 20 times. Admittedly the conditions were favourable for bowling in the morning session. I was also pleased to see the young Queensland openers put on an unbeaten century partnership. It was a good confidence boost particularly for Moller who reached 50 for the first time in his brief FC career.

Well, based on the lame two-man display by the Dubbers in the Franger, the Billies will finish in front of the Dubbers in the Moo Moo this season.

Based on the Bulls effort in the Franger Cup on Wednesday, they would have had no hope in this Pura Cup match.
NSW will win their share of games. They must be good if they afford to leave out Moises. He's the new Keith Miller! Not to mention young Hughes provided he is not required for national duties. Plus you might get Haddin & Bracken back after the ODI tour & MacGill will be playing PC matches.

The big disappointment for me was that I didn't meet up with big Carl. I was hoping to have a chat with him.

No. But if I had seen Carl there, I might have said hello and asked him if he had been on internet forums. GD ended up with the right answer for the difficult question I asked him, so I wouldn't totally rule out the possibility it was him. It did take few days though & he could have phoned the Admin at Churchie to find the answer.

Shame if GD was Mocca and he sooked off due to some banter from a few of us. I would have thought he'd heard much worse from the Windies and Poms.

Oh puhlease I wish I were Carl. I'm a bit younger and have plenty of hair (black) and me parents were Oirish.
I do believe Gabba Dan I doubt Churchie would know the answer. Only Carl could have answered that one mainly because he said he knew three coaches straight away and said so.
Oh and his obsession with Shaun Tait is shared by Border both on the QCA board and rumour has it that they both love express bowlers.

If that was Carl, he was a simple ****** and deserved a kicking for all his "I could buy you and sell you 3 times over" crap. Besides, if you were Carl would you make the fact known to only filosofee of all people on this forum?Minnesota Fats wrote:doremi wrote:Isn't 'Gabba Dan' now 'Minnesota Fats'?

I think he was shortening some up at the time. Someone was skiting about money and it sounded tongue in cheek to me though his property is well known to be worth millions.
