Apparently those guys, when told why they got ill, quite sensibly gave up the practice, and the disease appears to be extinct. Had it happened in this country with the current health department the president would have blamed poverty, the health minister would have advised to down the brains with some garlic, and the deputy health minister would have told the truth and get fired for it.
