Re: Oz Tv - relative speed of newsreaders
To be fair to skully the quote was actually "brown acid". How that happens I know not.
Nice pick-up on the guy by the way. I've just had a shitload of Hendrix' satanic NA trying to find a picture of the bloke.

Speaking of newsreaders...
There aren't any lish male newsreaders I can think of on NSW teev. They can deliver lines, but they're either geriatric or nerdy-noice. On the female side, there's Sandra Sully, whose voice is so wacky, I have to listen to it; and Ann Sanders, who's beautiful and private-school classy -but they're both older now and sideways shifting has already happened. A raft of young women has come along, on all channels.
So where are the young good-looking blokes?? If we're having ageism, I want equality - it's only fair.
(I haven't newsed much on Fox - maybe there are some hotties there...)
And peace and love and daisychains bradman.
Horrie, why do Vic newsreaders do it faster than NSW newsreaders?

I'd be worried if those two events had happened closer in geospatial terms. The tides would be nightmarish.ten years after wrote:It's incredible that two of mankind's greatest peacetime achievements - "one small step for man" and Woodstock - happened in consecutive months (albeit a quarter of a million miles apart).
