Looks like this place has been down for maintenance for much of the day.

Lucky we enjoy the world's best high speed internet so we can take advantage of sparkly clean Forum.
... erm ...what is that you say about our Internet speeds? I will have you know it is powered by two of Wide Wally hamsters.

Meh, interweb speed is only valuable when you are obsessed with streaming video to your hand-held.
The idiot youf of the world can't get by without such luxury. Poor babies.

Still using a fax in the more remote parts of the q empire (places on major highways FFS) as sending an email can be timed out, when it's available. Banned the downloading of movies when qjr tied up the system for three days trying to do so.
It's a pity most if not all of the commentators who bitch about inner city elites (and be right) think they've got regional cred because they have weekenders at Sorrento/wtf those beaches north of Sydney are called/insert your own enclave or visit pubs to get the pulse of the heavily vetted people.

Crikey, we are going to lower the nadir below the current 713 this month. Not even 600 yet.

Only need 30 odd posts to avoid an ignominious "lowest posting month ever".

Skully posted this on 16 May 2019. While he was apparently* snoring away at 4.00am the Forum apparently recorded its record number of participants.

my virus checker doesn't like the site (due to plain text password storing or something), tries to block it in my browser unless I tell it to GAGF.

Currently in a sleepy little pueblo called Macarena 250 kms south of Bogota. Its the staging point to Colombia's famous Cano Cristales (Coloured River).
4 days of hiking, swimming & touristing.
Have to say this place is an excellent change of pace to the crazy chaos in the big city. Very friendly & totally crime free.

Put on the Rolex and pay for a knickknack from a wad of yankee benjamins and see how crime free it is! You'd deserve it too, hiking at your age.

Re: Jesus, this place is dead...
Back in the land of people and traffic after a fantastic 4 days in the equatorial rainforests and high plains of Colombia.
Saw some great sites and met some great people. Also experienced a couple of mother-puta equatorial storms.
The only down side was my partner's environmental nazi of a cousin. She thinks she can save the world one insult at a time. She was last on the 4-wheel drive/bus/boat every time. And i reckon she must've photographed everything that wasn't green & half of everything that WAS green.
Will try to post some pics when i get home in 3 weeks.
Go the Blues.

FMD, what a qunt of a place Bogota's El Dorado airport is!!!
We spent an hour trying to check-in for an internal flight. We were sent from one end of the terminal to the other then back again. No qunt seems to know wtf is going on nor gave a fark. And customer service is almost zero. People act as if they are doing you a massive favour to even listen to your question. Then you get an arrogant wave in the vague direction of where you need to be.

We are currently above 2,200 posts for August. This is the first time since March 2018 that we have passed 2,000 posts in the month.

Re: Jesus, this place is dead...
Unsurprisingly the joint is quiet as it always is beyond the end of the English season and before the Aus season has really got going.
With only some shitty mens and womens ODIs and some domestic One Day rubbish in Aus to discuss, journeys across Scotland are getting more airtime than cricket.
Current nadir of 713 posts for the month may be challenged this month.
