Terry's All Gold, bliss. Dark Chocolate, sublime fillings.
As for Terry's Chocolate Orange, as Dawn French says, "they're mine, all mine"

I'm glad we're all appreciating Terry's. I feel a lot closer to you all now.
Re: Favourite Chocolate Bar
Terry's factory in York got closed and the buildings protected and now they are rotting next to the Knivesmire, what's the point of that?

Re: Favourite Chocolate Bar
Well, I expect the York real estate is a little to pricey for a chocolate company that lardos hadn't dealt with.
Re: Favourite Chocolate Bar
I just never heard of 'em.
Mrs L on the other hand knows her chocolates - she mostly turns her nose up at chocolate bars and Ferrero Rocher, etc; she likes truffles and those expensive Belgian things. She spent what seemed like hours admiring the chocolates in Fortnum and Masons last time we were in the UK. Luckily I've found a place locally that sells Belgian beers along with the Belgian chocolates, which themselves do little for me these days, unless I buy them for her.

Re: Favourite Chocolate Bar
Belgian beers are good. And Czech. I'm 100% ciderfied now, one of them what's a connor-sore, as you well know.... but my point in all this is that Belgian chocolates go well with cider but I can't imagine beer combining well.
Re: Favourite Chocolate Bar
They go well. I drink the beer, she eats the chocolates.

Re: Favourite Chocolate Bar
Brilliant. Unfortunately, Ferrero Rochers (the 24 piece or how much ever the large flat box contains) or any bloody edible thing doesn't last for more than two days for me.

Did you shit a kitkat chunky?
I normally eat between 10-15 voluntarily in a day, then wait for the next day to finish it. Then it's a few months before the next chocolates. It's a wonder I'm not a diabetic yet.eowyn wrote:I ate one, two of my children ate one each, none of the rest will eaten voluntarily by us.

Now that would be a good life. The only Ambassador that I'd be remotely related to is the ricketty vehicle.

I have wondered about the phrase 'accidental ingestion' and how it might apply to chocolate ... and beer ...
"Sorry dear, I accidentally ingested 27 beers today, beginning shortly after lunch"

Guylian and Godiva are decent. The best in Belgium were from the bakery.
