I like all chocolate really, I was specifically on about Bountys - Yanks can't do good chocolate, so their dark stuff is doubly pitiful.
Re: Favourite Chocolate Bar
American chocolate is made out of plastic.
As are their cars, cheese and newsreaders.

Their ideals, Jay, you missed out the big one. Their ideals are made out of plastic.

Aye, I mean I didn't think the entire country would be totally bereft of quality chocolate... I meant that their 'convenience store' chocolate is shambolic. Whereas the European chocolate isn't.
Re: Favourite Chocolate Bar
Not really chocolate, but at least they have peanut butter M&Ms. Now they are the biz.

Dello wrote:I was once stopped on Southampton high street by one of those bastards with clipboards who promise that it'll only take two minutes of your time to fill in a simple questionnaire, that any normal person blithely ignores.
I don't know what my malfunction was that day - perhaps I was just feeling lonely and needed a friend - but this woman sensed my weakness and pounced: before I knew it I was being frogmarched to a nearby building, wondering if I was about to be raped and whether, in practice, it was going to be nearly as bad as people make out.
Imagine my in-no-way unmasculine shrieks of delight when it turned out the survey I'd been strong-armed into was all about Bounty bars - specifically their wrappers.
I had to sit at a table full of Bountys and just open them. There were perforations in different places on each of the ten or so bars, and all I had to do was say which style I found most easily accessible. Because, as we all know, chocolate bars are virtually impossible to get into without a machete and some light explosives.
What a waste of time. They could have packaged Bountys in tin foil for all the difference it would've made.
Anyway, when my "two minutes" were up - after about quarter of an hour - they gave me a doggy bag of all the Bountys I'd opened and a few more thrown in for good luck and sent me on my way.
Result.
I got stuck in the lift trying to exit.
"Two minutes" ended up being more like half an hour.
Still - free chocolate. Even if coconut makes me want to grind my jaw down to a nub.
Yes. Still the greatest thing that's ever happened to me.
Re: Favourite Chocolate Bar
It is indeed an AT highlight of these Bails.
Even if I don't follow that "got stuck in the lift". Everyone knows Bounties are not THAT fattening. Well, not the number you can fit in a medium-sized dogbag, anyway.

I loathe Bounty's. Would have been a very dark day if that had happened to me. Seriously bleak.

The lift broke down. It had nothing to do with my beautiful girth.
Re: Favourite Chocolate Bar
There is a critical difference between copraphilia and coprophilia; best tested with the Curly Wurly.
Also qv Vilkibountiphobia: a newly described syndrome
It's closely correlated with coprocococopraphagophobia (the intense fear of eating chocolatey coconutty cocoa based bars that taste like shit).
