I shall be there...wondering who I hate more, and who I want to lose.
It's just wrong this Semi-Final lineup, two classic good guys v bad guys contests were possible . . . at least it guarantees a final of that particular flavour I s'pose.

Why do you dislike South Africa so much, Bob?
Or for that matter, Pakistan?

I find successive generations of players of both sides objectionable in so many ways.

With Shoaib and Asif out this is the most likeable PAK cricket team is decades.
As for the match i am not sure how PAK are going to beat SA since SA have almost all areas covered but then again its a T20.

If pakistan's batting can score some runs we sure have a chance.
I sill dun get why they keep on including Fawad Alam in the team? in the last 2 games he didnt bowl he is a all rounder and more of a bowler than batsman.
Its better to drop him and include a proper batsman even Salman butt lower down the order will be a better than him.

Yep, the Indians have already done theirs.
FFS, this is like a bowler trying to sledge a batsman after being hit for 6.

Good to see BOTH my outsiders in the final 4 shake-up!
Having shipped on at 20's and 16's, I'd want to see a Pakistan - WIndies final !
Here's hoping ... but unlkely TBH !

Ah, so India lost all their S8 games without choking cos they played against proper teams. But if SA lose a T20 game in the semis or final it will be a choke cos they are not playing proper teams?
Do you ever take a step back and realise how twattish you are at times?

Oh yes, the WC India won some 30 years ago.
Don't you realise that trying to sledge another team, after they have just made your team look like a bunch of qunts, makes you look like a twat?

This is definitely the hotter of the two threads so far. 21 v 13.

I'm ambivalent about Sri Lanka. I suppose the recent shootings have garnered sympathy for them and objectively speaking there is no glaring reason to despise them.
There is the Murali factor though. It's almost indisputable that he singlehandedly is the cause of the rules being bent (pardon the pun) to accommodate a more liberal interpretation of what constitutes a legal delivery. It's also easy to imagine that he's spawned a new generation of 'chuckers' because of the the aforementioned and the ICC's tendency to tip toe around the issue.
Then of course there was the portly Ranatunga and the way he conveniently used runners whenever he was fatigued in what was a flagrant abuse of the rules. Sri Lankan fans could become quite defensive if you pointed this out.

Its going to be a good game. Afridi and Ajmal could be dangerous if they play on a turning pitch like the SA IND game.
