Highly efficient work ethic by Saf. Pakistan generally underwhelming. The side that lost to the Poms.
88/12 SAf, surely?

Not sure that's too bad a score on this pitch, SA need to stay ahead of the rate early on. Almost a bit of Donald/Klusener stuff off the very first ball...

It's becoming a real challenge for batsmen in this format, to make the last five overs productive. Often they seem to be projecting scores at 8/10/12 an over, expecting those final overs to produce an increasing run rate, but the sort of bowling we're seeing from some of the best bowlers in this competition is keeping them down to a run a ball or less and the innings just tails off even with plenty of wickets in hand. Complete reverse of how limited-overs cricket has generally been played down the years.

They don't even seem to be attempting to chase this. Block one, nudge the next for a single... what happened to just trying to smash it out of the ground when you need 11 an over, they've got 7 wickets in hand!
Is Kallis protecting his average again, or perhaps they are preparing for an upcoming Test series...

Why are the commentators saying "good decision" when hawkeye showed it to be out?!?! I can see them maybe saying "I can understand that, it looked like it could have gone down leg" but if hawkeye shows the middle hitting the middle of leg stump then it's not a "good decision"!

Duminy needs to get himself out and let Morkel have a go if they are to have any chance whatsoever. He's Jadejaing them out of the tournament here...

Too funny, just too funny .
Best team in the tournament and they lose against one of the weaker. Having said that, Pakistan played very well today though I thought themistake decision to not let Gul bowl all of his overs could have proved costly.
Suicide run out at the end there as well.

Well done Pakistan ... great win ... Afridi maybe the MoM, but Umar Gul (for me) is one hell of a bowler under pressure. Excellent bowling.
If the WIndies win tomorrow, my two nominated outsiders ( Pak @ 20's and WIndies @ 16's) fight out the final!
Shame .... I only had a fiver on each of them!

Well I guess you have to go for those sort of runs when you need 20+ off the last over... in fact I always wonder why teams don't just keep running off the last ball until someone is out, however many are needed!
Pakistan's bowlers impressed again, it was a bizarre batting performance from SA though. I said at the start it was a tough target on this pitch and they had to keep ahead of the run rate - they started OK in the powerplay then just drifted along and didn't seem to realise there was a problem until they needed 77 off 7. Cricket's answer to the All Blacks strike again...
