Sky Sports subscribers can sign up free for Sky Broadband or whatever it's called, and watch Sky Sports via a t'internet connection.
Been meaning to do this for months, will certainly be doing so in the next couple of weeks, and then trying to arrange my diary so I am in the office during the series . . . then all I've got to do is work out how to stop prying eyes from peering over my shoulder . . .

Re: So, what's the plan?
I will be spending the first session of the series at a function at one of Sydney's best indian restaurants where the guests will be Mike Coward and Michael Slater and a giant TV screen.

The yelling at the monitor, accompnied by whooping leaps in the air clicking heels together or (perhaps more likely) tearing of hair and hysterical rending of clothing might give you away.

Re: So, what's the plan?
The plan is to just watch as much as I can. May try a 5th day somewhere, though who knows if any of them will last that long.
Re: So, what's the plan?
Friday nights during Ashes years are great. Early evening to the local Thai restaurant. Home to watch the Aussie rules. The cricket starts at about the end of the first quarter but luckily i have two TVs in the living room so can watch both (sound turned up on the Aussie rules which benefits more from the commentary than cricket does). The footy finishes a bit before the afternoon session starts in the cricket. Add a few bottles of beer. Perfect.
Its then just a question of how far into the final session before i fall asleep.

Re: So, what's the plan?
The plan? Watch the cricket as much as possible on Fox, avoid to to places where they're showing the SBS coverage in order to avoid seeing MacGill and Martyn on screen. Hope that there's not too much time difference between the radio commentary and the TV pictures if I'm somewhere SBS is the onloy TV option.
If I have to go out, then make sure there's a radio nearby.
Forum when I can. Which will probably be quite a bit.

Ngam, you do remember that I owe you one back from the days of India vs. Australia (or perhaps even before) do you not?
Only warning you'll get.

These 'backup' plans are best implemented at night past bedtime or if out camping alone with your man by a bonfire. What will you do at daytime if the matches get rained out.....

Uhhh... yeah, that was it... he wanted it to research an article he was doing.... they just happen to leave their hands in after a tackle to make sure the bloke is tackled.
Re: So, what's the plan?

Re: So, what's the plan?
I wouldn't like to say, although one tackle seemed to hurt both players' genitalia. They were quite sporting, the rubbed each other better, at first there seemed to be some pain, but there was a sudden relief to it.
