So assuming the Welsh will sheepen Test cricket with too many rain clouds over the next two days, how many is enough to make England nervous?

We lead by 140-odd. Another 100 with a day to bowl at the English could be a nervy task for the Poms.

We are shot Skulls... gone, Strauss was shocking as a captain this morning with his delaying tactics - he's a very defensive captain IMO

Get us in now and watch us crumble.

So you recommend a lazy $100 on Aus at 4.3?

Too true, I expect it from supporters but when a team starts looking to the clouds 2 days out to save them I don't fancy their chances when they bat.

Lump on. I have.

Tomorrow will be clear, so there will be a full day with added time even if there is no more play today.

lardy and I have been exchanging texts - well, I have been texting and he has been sending puns in return.

He reckons a lead of 170 is plenty. I say 250 and give ourselves a day to winkle England out.

Even the BBC text commentators have started gallows humour...

Some mail from the studio. Pietersen didn't warm up this morning and has been hidden at deep point all day. Is his Achilles troubling him?

Lardy is a great believer in the power of numbers. His final post was number 7777. Thought it a good time for a rest from FB.

He's very busy at work and is a bit punned-out, so is taking a wee break from our company. I have told him he's been asked after. He's wasting all those puns on me that he would normally exchange with PeterCS. Cool

I have passed on such sentiments (as has taips) to him. He's very "meh" about it.

But he's fast on the text thumb.

Too much! Though I will do a trade on the majority of it at the first sign of an England wicket so I cover my losses
