Shitting hell.

Well played the tail.

Who tipped Monty to ever save a Test for England with the bat?

Mental.

Worst batsman in Test cricket did I say? Have your title back Chris Martin. Our top order could learn a few things from these two! What an effort, from the last pair and from Colly to get them into the position where it was possible.

Yes we were outclassed over the five days but it's a big psychological boost that hopefully we can build on going to Lord's.

Well, yes - they come out of the match having shown their batting to be pathetic and their bowling utterly powder-puff.

But credit where it's due - the lower order fought like tigers. In both innings.

Colly's 74 saves the game as his 200 did not a few years ago.

0-0 is 0-0.

Of course England need to improve a shitload, but when it came down to it, Aus couldn't finish the job, and England hang on by the skin of their teeth.

On to Lord's......

Just imagine if this were India, Ponting would have run around in loops trying to extend the game or create a ruckus of some sort.

Wow.

That's the reason Test cricket is king. England were comprehensively outplayed, but there was still hope. Collingwood and the lower order fought and fought and fought and ended up staving off defeat.

There's always something to play for.

Having said that I'm still pissed off we'll be going to Lord's at 0-0!
