I liked Fred's wicket celebration. It's cooler than charging up the wicket with a face on like a lobotomised baboon.
He wasn't too humble when he withered that tree, or overturned the Temple tables ....
Fred has done the L Baboon stuff in the past (2005)!
Well bowled after all the poor stuff at Cardiff, Graeme Swann.

Against all expectations, England take a lead in the series.
Expect Oz to come back like a wounded sledgehammer at Edgbaston.
DON'T DON'T DON'T select Bell, home ground or not!!!!!

I hear Swann and Fred have booked the bus to Cronwall.
In fact, the whole team is coming along. ...

I suppose for Australia it's Clark for Johnson, and expect the Roo to box its way back.
Rogers might be put on standby, though.

Well done, England. Most satisfactory for me sitting far away. Glorious day after 75 years at Lords. 1 up, 3 to go.

What a champion performance from Flintoff. All things considered that spell this morning was arguably finer than anything he produced in 2005. Aus were scared shitless of him today.
I honestly thought that if we didn't get a wicket in the first hour this morning, we were f*cked. But as soon as Flintoff got Haddin, I was pretty sure we would win.
1-0. Thankyou very much.

Punter hitting the right notes in a mini-interview with Agnew.
Always best to channel annoyance and frustration and sense of injustice into a controlled determination to win next time, and planning to that end. Never easy in the heat of the moment, it has to be said. So well played Ponting.

Damn straight it wasn't. I dislike Ponting. His hypocrisy and Dubya-like face. He's half the man AB was and still is.
Decades of Australian dominance in the Ashes have sunk deep wells of anger in me.

He did in the presentation as well. Good on him for that, credit where it's due.

Ponting is being very gracious in his presentation interview concerning the umpire decisions. The crowd applauded him. Good on him.
