If the Aussies lose today
which to me is the most probable outcome then how will the Aussie fans react.
1. Hurt more since their hopes/expectations were set higher due to the fightback on Day 4 or
2. Be pleased that there was atleast a fightback of sorts before the inevitable.

2 if anything as we still have no hope.
I will still have a deep hatred for Andrew Hilditch generally and Ricky Ponting's captaincy specifically.

3. Shrug, say well done to the poms and look forward to Test 3?
4. Chip in for the lads to charter a plane to bring them home unless the umpires are replaced (the "subi" option)?
5. Blame Punter?

The scoreline for the Series could be a 2-1 for either team. Neither side seems to have a distinct weapon to hurt the other.

Jack,
Fof Option "4" to work CA needs to rob the bank(s) or win the bigest every lottery.

6. It's less a fightback and more just a couple of dubbers both red ink hunting

Look, I'm not selfish. I'd even be happy with a Vixen and a Tozzie becoming all time legends by putting on 100 run 10th wicket partnership to win it.

You know we'll be all out by drinks in the first session, but . . . if only Straussy would "play up, play up, and play the game" and give us one of the sawn off batters back . . .

Sage. Even if they put on 10 to win it they might become all time legends.JGK wrote:Look, I'm not selfish. I'd even be happy with a Vixen and a Tozzie becoming all time legends by putting on 100 run 10th wicket partnership to win it.
And if the most likely outcome occurs I will say what I always say - "well played and congrats, too good."
