Weather prediction anything more than 3 or 4 days out is guesswork at best.

Re: England v Australia, 3rd Test, Edgbaston, Jul 30 - Aug 3
Same weather pattern predicted for Brum as was for Lord's the previous week.
Th - Dry.Sunny - Fri,, Cloudy/rain - Sat., Heavy Cloud/Rain - Sun., Patch cloud/Sun - Mon ., Cloudy/Rain -
The toss, once again, will be crucial. Win it and bat 4 sessions before the unsettled weather turns sh!te for the middle period, before allegedly brightening up again on Sunday.
Let's hope we're as lucky at Edge as at Lord's where really only the one session was wiped out ..... but let's not kid ourselves, the Edge curator/groundstaff still operate as if in the Middle Ages with drag on covers (from one boundary cross-field to the next) and a lack of sponger- vehicles! The water plane there is low as well ...
Fingers crossed - but what we DON'T want is a boring, weather interrupted draw.
The Aussies throats are bruised ... time to crush them a bit more.
For Hass - England need to keep on cheating and continue playing outside the 'spirit of the game'!

there's no guarantee he'd say "we'll have a bat" even if he won

It would make sense.
Which is why many would be surprised if the NSP did it.

Ollie is a goner...they are sure to play the super softy spiv and keep horrors
'
time for some leg theory...supported by bowling no balls at least a metre over the crease...two every over will have the pomgolians on the run...who knows the umps may give the batsman out if he manages a nick (provided the catch does not go to the chokarian and the sieve)

WTF are all these geezers horrie ?
The only words I recognized directly relating to the Australian team were .....super softy ... spivs ... horrors ... no balls ... chokers ... nick .......
...whilst I appreciate English is not your mother tongue, would you care to explain the rest of your ramblings in the simple rather than pigeon version, ol' fruit.

get with the program ya old stick of brighton rock
Ollie = north,
super soft spiv = watson (all spivs ie Sydneysiders are soft)
sieve -= haddin (so nicknamed for obvious reasons)
chokarian = katich (once tried to choke M Clarke)
