Re: England v Australia, 3rd Test, Edgbaston, Jul 30 - Aug 3
Strewth, this is more like it.
I was hoping for a TAYne POCson ton so I could admire his elegant technique more (while a collapse happened at the other end).

Hussey seems to have a real problem judging where his off-stump is at the moment.

Isn't it laying flat on the ground?

Looked stone dead.
Note for future reference when we get whinging about a dubious one that gets given. I make that three extremely good shouts not given in this innings so far - which is not a problem in itself, only when you get one dodgy one and a chorus of moans.

Great spell by Onions. Prolly got two wickets with two straight balls but his rhythm and pace is excellent. And the ball is starting to swing.
Not surprisingly the big soft banjowozzie didn't go on with it and Paris just totally misjudged a ball in the corridor. Ponting was outthought by Onions.
Pup definitely dodged a bullet with the lbw shout. This next few overs could be the making or breaking of Ollie. A good knock here could set him on a good career.
We are one wicket from Ashes oblivion. Well played England.

Oh well, it was fun to hold the Ashes for all but 15 months in 20 years...

apparently Haddin is willing to play the 4th Test with a busted finger. Fark him off home.

DROPPED!
Flintoff grasses one. Onions bowling stunningly, Clarke had no idea about that one.

Rubbish. He's dropped a couple in this series, get rid of him.
Though interestingly, people will forget it, but had it been Prior who had dropped a couple of catches, he'd have been slaughtered.

I wouldn't expect any less from Prior though.

Flintoff is overrated as a slips fielder. Everyone talks about his 'bucket' hands but i've seen him drop a fair few easy ones over the years.

I see Clarke is batting with the fortune of previous times.
Re: England v Australia, 3rd Test, Edgbaston, Jul 30 - Aug 3
Deary me, another bullet dodged as Freddy puts down a straight-forward one.
Onions just looks a different bowler from the first 2 Tests. Just great Test bowling.
Jimmy seems to have no brains, bowling exclusively outswingers to Ollie. He'll probably get 5 wickets now.

No worries Aus as pressure reliever Broad comes on and promptly goes for 6 in his first 2 balls.
