I wonder if Ricky will set a target? Probably not, Straus would be stupid to nibble.

Damn, this is hard work. I imagine Drunky has his fingernails chewed to the 1st knuckle by now.
Pretty fair bowling, and quite a few play and misses.

Has anyone mentioned what a bunch of useless qunts the selectors are and what a hopeless joke of a captain Ponting is?

They've done the main thing, which was to survive the first hour. Australia should be fine now.

Settle SS. You are well in front. No need to drag out the attacking woofs.

And Straus decides to use Anderson. Well at least we got an hour.

And why did Strauss leave him out of the attack for so long?

He was trying out the Ponting captaincy manual

Have to say, the amount of woofing/reverse-woofing that has been going on in this series is disgraceful. We should all (myself included) be ashamed of ourselves. We aren't playing in the spirit of FB.

Because Onions knocked over the top order in the first innings and Flintoff wiped out the Australian batting in the second Test.
He made a call, just like every captain has to do. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

Probably trying to convince our selectors they have a clue.

Though Hussey's batting beautifully at the moment, you must agree.

The ampunt of reverse woofing that goes on here makes any kind of sensible analysis impossible.
England need at least one more wicket before lunch.

Glorious stuff from Brazen.
Looks as impregnable as Clarke looks imperious.

Christ! I've gotta use the quote functuion more often.
Once England's bowlers realise Hussey hasn't got a clue they'll dial it back a bit and pick him up at second slip or in the covers.

oh dear, run-leaking time!
Splendid half volley to start with to a batsman well set.
Great thinking!

I don't mind seeing drives though. It's when he bowls short it's a problem.

Yep. Nailed on hundreds for the pair of them. I doubt England will get another wicket all day.
