Got to agree with that - We just look that bit better. What's the betting Punter nad Hussey both make the trip next year?

our middle order looks weak and the bowlers pedestrian
The only chance we have of a win is if the reinventor comes off.
Relying on spivs again

Series is over. 2-0. We'll not get any more cricket - it's wall to wall rain next week.
Re: England v Australia, 3rd ODI, Edgbaston, 4 July, 2012
Aye, I'd be surprised if they even get to toss a coin. Still, it is July... it's not like it's SUPPOSED TO BE JUST ABOUT THE HOTTEST, SUNNIEST MONTH OF THE F*CKING YYEEEEEAAAAARRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!
Re: England v Australia, 3rd ODI, Edgbaston, 4 July, 2012
Dirtbag and Meaker wont be playing on Wednesday because they will be attending Tom Maynard's funeral. Chris Woakes added to the squad. Personally, i'd do a like-for-like swap of Woakes for Bresnan, and perhaps Samit for Dernbach.

Dernbach has a look on his face that just seems to ooze stupidity.

Woakes for Bresnan and Samit for Dernbach? Whoop-di-f*cking-doo... I couldn't be less enamoured than swapping a f*cking dobber for a f*cking dobber and a non-spinning dobber for a buffet-bowling shitheap.
And you're all taking it seriously... good for you.

Well they're no Jason Roy.
I'd stick with Bres. He may get whacked large in the odd over but gets it to reverse later on and has the ticker to recover. Whereas I think the likes of dirtbag may just cry....

Aye - Tim Bresnan - my hero. Just don't bowl him five overs either side of a powerplay, or during.
Oh, and don't expect him to not spuff the odd four or twelve down the leg side - because at his pace, misdirection is a common problem.

You're a harsh man, how could you not want to pinch his little chubby Yorkie cheeks?

I'll pinch the complacent f*cker's cheeks if he does some shit in the SA series.
He's always been tonk-fodder in ODIs - hence the 36 average after 60-odd ODIs, playing half of them in favourable conditions.

Re: England v Australia, 3rd ODI, Edgbaston, 4 July, 2012
At least Woakes can tonk it down the order. Of course both Woakes and Patel aren't up to it, but I didn't pick the f*cking squad.

the harshness of Pomgolian FB'ers about their own team stands above any critique other countries have to offer...excluding Taips objection to selection for the Saffies of any player who lacks red hair and freckles

You've got to have standards. Otherwise you end up picking Steve Smith as a specialist batsman.
