Stuart Broad is God.
Though more seriously, that's what I meant when I said I didn't mind him being driven. If he keeps it full then he has the chance of getting a nick. It's when he bowls short and you can't set a field to him it's a real problem.

Bulltwang! FB was built on a foundation of woofing.vilkrang wrote:Have to say, the amount of woofing/reverse-woofing that has been going on in this series is disgraceful. We should all (myself included) be ashamed of ourselves. We aren't playing in the spirit of FB.

I'm still not so sure.... no woofing intended. I can see them being a little less expansive now, they'll attempt to shut up shop. We know the tail like a biff, so if they take the next session out of the game adding another ton then we'll be faced with 150 in 30ish overs. It's quite possible we'll be 5 down for 70 and looking all at sea.
Shit, it sounds like a woof, but I know what I mean...

Maybe very late in the day according to the last forecast I read. There's a link to the Pom Met Office forecast somewhere a few pages back, say about p 8.

It's always possible in this country. Weather forecasts are somewhere to the left of your horoscope over here.

England's session, but I'll take 2 for 80-odd in the next session.
Test cricket - nail-biting stuff.
We are one wicket from Ashes oblivion.

No skulls. We need to win one test and they need to draw two. Gone are the days of whitewashing them.

Thanks for the bracing insight and in depth analysis, Zim and qmy.
If we survive this Test and pull a win out of our arse in the next 2, then we can retain the Ashes. QED.

Not hard to survive this Test. Aus have simply to survive a session.
