I'm surprised Prior got away scot free.

And JKL need not worry, if Bopara takes another Test wicket he will automatically halve his bowling average anyway...G.Wood wrote:JKLever wrote:Clarkes been a bit lucky here. With Haddin out they can't risk dropping Midge as that makes a mighty long tail. I think Gump for Horrors who is still quite rubbish.

hmnn..things I learned from the last day...
Fat Freddie is truly gonski...taken fewer wickets than midge at a higher average...
Broad seems to be selected as the token Princess Di lookalike
The Chin is as threatening as Haurers...what a tosser too...bowling in his shades...
That boy Ollie North can play a bit...
Hussey is as convincing a batsman as RD is when trying to get lucky in Ipswich..
excellent effort by watson...plays straight - albeit a bit mechanical...showed a bit of guts too

You, you, southerners have forfeited the right to be complimentary to Watson and don't come referring to him to him as your old mate Watto.

Did anyone hear Boycott on ABC last night - FFS sounded like he had one hand on the mike - and the other on his pud!

By the way, Clarke now averages over 50. That is by far the highest average for someone with 2000+ test runs but a HS of <160.
Next best is Mark Richardson with 44.77 and then Al Cook with 43.97.

He's certainly become a proper test batsman rather than just a purdy advantaged spiv with a bit of talent

You had to chuckle at that bloody big welt on his arm.
And kudos to him - in days gone past he may have lost that arm

Twas my point. Explaining the nature(or indeed the point) of the game to our current XI would help too.
