Re: Harmison
I am.
Surely by the end of this test either England fans will be thrilled to have him back (if it's a good game) tolerating him (if he does averagely) or Aussie fans will be enjoying the runs from his bowling is he has a bad game.
Win win Lose lose either way.

Shame on me for allowing myself to think that just maybe Harmison would be a decent option. I feel so dirty and sick. I'm gonna go and cry in the shower......

Does the shower light up and speak to you like the Japanese toilets?

Well looking at the rash of fours on Cricinfo he was giving away I assume it's safe to say I can engage smug mode.

Re: Harmison
His first spell was good, his second spell inexcuseably half hearted, and his third spell was a mixture of hostility and filth.
Typical day for Harmison in England colours, really.

and to think we could've had another batsmen instead. We might have made 125.

Re: Harmison
At least he bowled. Swanny did nowt.
By the time the seamers have all had a bit of a dart tomorrow morning, the new ball will be on the horizon...

Re: Harmison
For all we know, the pitch could be a raging turner. A good captain would have given Swann at least 1 over. Just to see if it was spinning.

Re: Harmison
I saw no reason that Harmison would be any other than the same old rubbish he's been for four years, and he hasn't let me down.
He should never come near an England team again. First over this morning he hasn't bowled a ball in the other half of the pitch.

Re: Harmison
He'd probably be quite effective if this match was being played in Durham. Against county opposition.

Re: Harmison
Why do we give Harmison a chance when he's disspaointed time and again when we drop Sidebottom who has always given everything for England and never really dissapointed. Only when he had injury problems did Sidebottom look like he needed a break.

Well most of us (apart from Merlin) asked the same thing.

But unfortunately some people (like the England selectors) never learn.
I do suspect this might be Harmison's last Test though.

And it should have been. I can't help it if people are so stupid as to fall for it again, can I?
