And Nein not showing the cricket in HD on GEM. Nath suggested this would happen last week, but I found an online TV guide which said they were. But they're not. Yet another argument for Pay TV to be allowed unfettered access to sport in Ustralia and for the FTA channels to suck it up, or improve their game. Qunts, qunts, qunts, qunts, qunts...

I'll say one thing though...
A repeat of Leeds 2009 or not coming up... batting first and making Aus bat last is the way we've gained our last 4 test wins by putting on a score and then putting them under some pressure. The only thing to do.

Indeed. And if you want to give them a serve, Here's the link to the GEM launch announcement a couple of months ago.JGK wrote:SEriously, Nein aren't showing this on HD?
Uberqunts.
Following on from the outstanding success of the GO! multi-channel, the Nine Network today announced plans for a third channel, GEM, which will launch on Sunday, September 26 aimed at the sophisticated, discerning viewer.
GEM will be a mix of new content, classic comedies, cherished drama series, all-time favorite movies, and all of Nine’s sport coverage in high definition.

Just rang Nein. They said they'd had 'too many complaints that they were showing the cricket on two of our channels... If we could just show it on our HD channel, we would...'
I reckon that by the end of the day today, they'll have ten times as many complaints that they're not showing the cricket in HD.
