I didn't factor in Siddle taking a hat trick. Do you get bonus points for that in the dream team comp?

Well...who'da thought Siddle had a michelle in him. All we need now is for the selectors to wake up to the fact that Johnson is crap & bring back Bolly & we'll have a half decent attack.

300 still not out of reach and then we're cactus.

I'm jinxed, get up at 5.15 and end up sitting and watching the "Siddle takes the Poms to the Cleaners" show....

What i meant was that Siddle was'nt in the best of form, even before his injury. To come back like this is amazing. Perhaps he just needed a long rest.

Just wait until we bat! Can't believe the Poms. All they have to do is bat sensibly and pray for rain, but no, let's actually try to win a match with stupid farking shots off a piss poor bowling attack. What's the test record for wides in a test match?

Surely Ponting can't avoid a ban yet again after another woeful over rate today.

good call qmy...we are sooooo doomed...
the crocinfo description of the lady di dismissal was a classic
"Siddle to Broad, OUT, he's got it! Siddle has taken a hat-trick! Full and swinging in, Broad is too slow on that ball, he's struck on the toe and Aleem Dar gives it lbw! Broad asks for the review, leaving Siddle nervously awaiting his hat-trick fate. Tony Hill views the replay: it's a super yorker, hitting on the full on the toe, in line, hitting the stumps and no bat involved

Asked the question earlier. I'm just hoping and praying he get's binned. Then we could have a real captain. Like my ten year old son, my mother or some park bench junkie who bummed a cigarette off me today.

Clearly the ICC aren't serious about over rates at all if Ponting escapes a ban yet again.

Said it before and I'll say it again. Go to lunch under thirty overs and get docked some runs; go to tea under again and get docked again; finish the day under and bowl the extra overs, get docked again and captain to miss the next match.
I mean it's Ponting FFS it's not like he makes any productive use of the extra time.

So channel Nine have three channels now, and they still can't broadcast the biggest cricket series in the world live.
A disgrace, really.
