Just to be clear, I was not referring to the concept of a league nor the cricket itself. I was referring to the organisation as I said and its pernicious attempts to erode other aspects of cricket ( essentially it is the eptome of the worst of Capitalism, make as much money as possible regardless of the consequences for the game in general or the IPL itself. If it dies those at the top will not be struggling financially for a while.)

Wouldn't say cricket is dying. If it has a problem it is from the ineffective ICC and malignancies such as those mentioned immediately above.

hmmm....my comment was tongue in cheek but i do think too much is made of the evils of IPL
