Shame none of them can bat as a score of 200/220 would have been extremely competitive.
Still it could be fun watching Kemar Roach in a few minutes, the fastest bowler in this tournament so far.

Unlucky. At least Pakistan gave their all, they can't be blamed for India's exit.

so of 12 first round matches, only half a match turned out to be completely meaningless. the format is spot on. should maybe have reserve days though.

Looks like he's hobbling a bit, but jeez he looked sharp.
Get him in instead of Powell and that be nice with Fissy and Jerome!

Yep it seems a no-brainer to me. The attack for Australia should be:
Edwards
Taylor
Roach
Bravo
Miller
Reserves:
Tonge
Rampaul
Sammy
Edwards
Taylor
Roach
Bravo
Miller
Reserves:
Tonge
Rampaul
Sammy

Btw it's been a poor innings by Kartik who has played and missed at about 20 balls of his 65 so far.
Surely not the answer as an Indian opening batsman?

Urgh... an appropriate way for a dreadful innings to come to an end. God knows how he lasted so long at the crease.

If we knew that and could teach it to Rohit Sharma, it would be perfect.
Oh well, this tournament turned out very unlucky in some ways. But not totally unexpected.
Overheard a few choice Pak bashing abuses today after they lost. Was pretty entertaining

1 run to win and Reifer has a man at long on, long of, deep midwicket etc etc.
What an inspirational leader he has proven to be....
