No in Billyland the sun arrives on time. Only melanin deprived mexicans need to rig it.

Heads should roll ideally, but BCCI is so smug about it all that it will waste no time in organizing another T20 or one day circus in no time and will probably be busy stitching up IPL4...

The quota system of getting cricket associations votes at work.
Also the fact that the pitch was pretty crap to even host a T20 game.....

Australia in a canter despite some poor, verging on comical fielding.
It was as accpeted by most Indians here....just another excuse to make money by bastardizing cricket and create more flat track bullies in the process!

SRT may have played a gem the other day, but the fact is it's time he beefed up the fragile middle order and let GG & Viru open up.

This series actually hasn't reach the levels of hella carp, sh1te boredom that I was expecting.
Granted, Aus not losing 6-1 helps.

After Drunky went I thought it might get a bit nervy, but Paris and ShyT put their heads down and did the hard work on a tricky pitch.

Why do you reckon Dhobi asked Tendy to bowl the last over? Seemed a bit rude?

He was attempting a full house of bowlers. Unfortunately Tendy bowled 2 long hops and the 10th bloke didn't get a go

Dhoni is starting to bowl a fair bit more now. Is he worried about his WK position?

Ponting made a good call in his acceptance speech about the young kids using this tourament to get experience in the conditions for the next world cup. It implied, to me anyway, that while Aust haven't chosen the best available team (obviously Hodge, Clark, Katich should be in it ahead of others), they have chosen a team of players with a good chance of being around and in some sort of form in 2011.

The only downside of this series win is that they may have been too successful. The Indian "brains trust" might now think they actually have some work to do before 2011.

Surely we can fix that in the dead rubber.
The other good point is that Douggie has now worked out what he needs to do to keep his rug stuck down in Indian conditions

So Bollinger's success in India will mean he won't get chosen for the next two Test series'?

Well played Australia.
Fully deserved to win the series. Watson has been simply sensational for past few months. Bollinger ensured that Aus don't feel the punch of Lee's absence.

Re: India v Australia, 6th ODI, Guwahati, Nov 8
India were too inconsistent to win in this series.
Surely, Dhoni's unnecessary clout in selection of final XI should recede from hereon. His pet loves Raina, Jadeja, Bhajji and Praveen have simply not delivered. Wonder how could he pick 3 seamers on this surface!!!
I've been an advocate of bringing in Amit Mishra in place of Bhajji for long. Perhaps, time for him to be given a regular place in Indian ODI team in place of non performing Bhajji.
