Majola says they're seeking the next 'black pearl' which may alleviate pressure on quotas.

This journo thinks that Ntini was the weakest link but the comments section thinks otherwise. Some are calling for Sooky's head. One thinks dropping Ntini would be a conspiracy to stop him breaking Pollock's record. Others want Boucher to get the flick and there's not much love for the big blond.

I'd be very sad if there ended up controversy about quotas with Ntini. He really doesn't deserve that, he's been a fantastic bowler over the years.

The really sad part is that he would be the last person to play the race card.

In which case, he's no doubt be somewhat uncomfortable right now.

And isn't that what I said a couple of days back?

But wasn't three the magic number when SA played us last summer? Prince replaced McKenzie which made it four but against Australia SA fielded Ntini, Duminy and Amla.

The difference is Ntini is "black" and the others "coloured"

So until another player who is classified as black comes along, you're rooted. He might play until he's forty. Maybe Tsotsobe is worth a go.

I hate this racist SA government

I thought you were banned from international cricket before because the govt. was racist. I wonder how the fans felt about KP and Trott (who left because of race issues) saving the game for their adopted country.
