Their form was consistent with the previous week BD. One was a loss(when I backed them) and the other was a win (when I was out of town & didn't).

Halfway between a HALFback and a centreTHREEQUARTER
Hmm. Thing is, we regard the stand off as a half-back - hence why it puzzled me.

Well, that's a bit stand-offish.

yep, the glorious diveristy of the game. As someone else noted, the K1s view both the 10 & 12 as standing on the same latitude(first five-eighth/second five-eighth), just south of the halfback.

Re: Super 14 Rugby 2010
Brumbies get away with a fairly lucky win. Not a bad game given that it was a penalty-kick-a-thon. George Smith scores and Interecpt try with minute to go to open up a 7 point lead, then the Stormers score a try at the death but miss the conversion. Sucked in Jaapies!
Of course, the lack of bonus points will kill the Brumbies season stone dead.

Brumbies win again, over the Lions. A cold, wet night at Canberra stadium, the Lions were insipid and basically a rabble. The Brumbies not even close to their 'stellar' label they'd been given before the season began.

Judging from the swearing from the louge the ref was awful.

He was frustrated by one of the worst displays of scrummaging at Super Rugby level from the Lions. Wouldn't have helped.

Ah, the bludy Reds, just doing the sums............ one winning bet @ sixes less two losing bets. Yikes! I'm in front.
Will Chambers, it's early but I don't like the signs. Shaping up as another dud leeeegy.

Phil Waugh would be the worst captain in living memory. Very hard to be a bad football captain, but Phil excels.

Tahs were lucky that the ref didn't rule a penalty try at the end of that match when he binned Beale. And FWIW, what's the rugby equivalent of 'the next Bradman'? Beale seems to be filling it nicely.
