Teddy K Spinning in His Grave
Brown leading Coakley, the nemesis of Louise Woodward, by 53-46% with 21% of the vote counted. Looks as if the Dems have driven off the bridge. Where's Sam Giancana when you need him?

For Skully's benefit:
Mob Ties Aided JFK
I'm not the one to judge since I didn't know who SRIHBD was until I looked him up in the glossary. I wonder if the Mob do socks as well? Probably got cement in them, though.
Tina Sinatra, 52, says her father told her that Kennedy patriarch Joseph P. Kennedy wanted the Mafia's help in delivering the union vote in the 1960 West Virginia primary, in which John Kennedy, then a U.S. senator, faced Sen. Hubert Humphrey of Minnesota. The elder Kennedy asked Frank Sinatra to make a request to then-Chicago crime boss Sam Giancana.

Insightful political commentary there, CT. Never would have thunk it myself.
Here's the new boss:
not really like the old boss:
The Dems may have a point, looks a bit of a 'lightweight'. Still, no flies on him, though.

Word on the street is that Brownie the Jock's seriously considering doing a similar photo-shoot for Cosmopolitan this coming April as a pre-election titilating tease ...
...which might just serve to launch Ted Kennedy's posthumous career as Mr Body Beautiful !

Think he might face some competition from you-know-who who might be more desperate:
