Why would it? Every ton has contrasting styles attached to them.

Sehwag's innings was savagery at its best while Tendulkar and VVS's were so pleasing to eye, purists' delight. Dhoni's one is a combination of workmanlike and some attacking strokeplay.

IMO Dhoni has no intention to declare today at least.

One might argue that Sehwag set the tone and the other two swum in his slipstream. Certainly he had it harder with fresher bowlers and some semblance of scoreboard pressure.

But thats been always the case with any batting side.

Middle order batsmen often swim on the tide of their openers' show against the new ball bowlers. Thats what the job of an opening batsman.
