Basil - what do think about Corbyn's reported view the amendment seeking a second referendum was premature?

And the fact they don’t vote Tory in Scotland, Wales and NI (well, actually, they vote ultra-Tory-meets-UKIP with a side order of religious bigotry in NI...)Basil wrote:Which is not unfair, given the disparity of the populations of the constituent countries.horace wrote:Was agreeing with you Basil. Re: UK politics thread
And yet nobody else from NI has a seat other than one independent. Sinn Fein own seven but don’t take them up, the moderate unionist and non-sectarian parties a big fat f*ck all. Will that change next time? No idea... but if people don’t want these idiots to speak for NI, they need to actually go out and vote for someone else.horace wrote:beamer wrote:And the fact they don’t vote Tory in Scotland, Wales and NI (well, actually, they vote ultra-Tory-meets-UKIP with a side order of religious bigotry in NI...)Basil wrote:Which is not unfair, given the disparity of the populations of the constituent countries.horace wrote:Was agreeing with you Basil. For once, he might be right, although it needs to be said that he is as fond of a second referendum as Superman is of Kryptonite.taipan wrote:horace wrote:Basil - what do think about Corbyn's reported view the amendment seeking a second referendum was premature?

Re: UK politics thread
Just did a members search for "vilkrang" - "Sorry, but no such poster exists".
Looks like our old mate vilky has had enough and has had his account removed. That's very sad.
On the other hand, whitburn still exists.
