So far, so good - even Jimmy got wickets!
Rain in the air, overcast - Jimmy defying the odds once again...

Sozzies playing Chef nicely in to form.
Whose idea was it again to have tour games against rubbish teams?

Yes, we get it, Skip - you're in pretty good nick.
Now f*ck off and let someone who isn't (pretty much everyone else) have a bat.

Didn't help him much when he limped to 100 against Pakistan...

Chef rustles up a century FWIW.
With the same aggregate number of 4s and 6s (17) as his captain before him. ~ Must be a triv question there::: ... when was the last time that was achieved by two English openers in a warm-up against South Australia?

So all the England players are at their peak?
All down hill from here, chaps.
Inb4 James Anderson is in a trough and is the only player to come good when the rest struggle.

Only Trott without a 50+ score. He played a horrible-looking hook to get out in the first innings. Not the last bouncer he will get this tour - so that's a potential problem that needs addressing.

It's not the surface that matters for Jimmy, it's the air.

Bit of a fizzle-out. Did they shake hands just after lunch, or was there a downpour?

Ach, I thow that P, but I was being a bit tongue in cheek ..... after all there are still plenty who honestly believe he still concedes 4+ rpo if conditions aren't perfect for him, and that he's not improved in the last few years. It's nonsence of course, but it still grinds me gears.
Middle session washed out I believe.
BTW, why haven't you got an XI in Lardy's Fantasy Ashes young man ?
