Rudolph chalks up a 50 and the next ball AB who's been toying with the bowling chalks up 150.

Good, aggressive declaration from Smith. If you've already got enough runs, why wait until an hour before day 2 stumps to declare? It's something I think England and Strauss should look to do more often.

SA declare on 4/580. AB smashed 160 from 205 balls. Inspired decision to bowl first!

Perhaps he was thinking 'Threesome!'....
Dammit!

I think we'd have declared at 600.

No bird is fit enough for me to have my erection in such close proximity to another erection. Not even Megan Fox.

Sorry, I wasn't taking aim at you Taips. It's the norm for a team to get to 550 then declare with an hour till stumps on day 2, but it was good for once to see South Africa take the initiative and put themselves in a position to bring forward the declaration by a couple of hours.

Fair enough. That onslaught definitely fast forwarded the declaration.

The words "get to 550 then declare" make me depressed.
Then I decided to make myself even more depressed by looking up the scorecard online.

After making a pair at Durban, I believe that photo was taken right after Kallis had got off the mark.

Maybe they asked for a shot of his totty, and didn't realise the word has quite a different meaning in South Africa...JKLever wrote:Ew, a sweaty Kallis crotch shot I can do without!
