Never seen any one play Ajmal as well as Kohli did today. He is the best batsman in the world.

...his overall behavior is very poor though, very bad example for the kids with maa bhen stuff. Some one like Sunny bhai should kick his ass.

Very good opportunity.
As of now in my book he is the best batsman in the world and should use these 4 test matches to PROVE that.

He's a good player. Been a bit tentative in this series for some reason.

Probably because Eng bowlers have bowled very well to him? He was sort of unlucky in 1 innings when he slammed an absolute long hopp straight to the fielder.
But he had this coming. His purple patch already extended close to a year. Hopefully, he'll start afresh from the next test.

He wasn't unlucky. He was a f*cking idiot. Should have put it into row Z. As it was, it was a meek leading edge to mid off from a gentle full toss. Awful dismissal. Truly terrible.
Still, he's a good player.

Or are you talking about a different dismissal?

Re: Virat Kohli- Very fine talent!
Thats why I said, sort of.
I know he could've hammered that ball anywhere he liked. But it happens with even the best. Sometimes, it just doesn't come off despite your best intentions and efforts. I'd say that stroke of him was just a case in point.

Re: Virat Kohli- Very fine talent!
I know but his test performances right from Perth test have been really good and that happened close to an year ago which basically proves my point.
His scores in tests before this series were since Perth test,
44, 75, 116, 22, 58, 103, 51*, thats 469 runs @ 78!! That was some seriously good form coming into this series.

Who said he has become a world class test batsman? Far from it. Loads to prove in this form of the game. But he was batting very well this year in all forms of the game and thats a fact.he still has loads to prove in this form

Re: Virat Kohli- Very fine talent!
I am not sure Kohli is still it. Not convinced he has made a place in the test spot yet. He lacks in the mental toughness department. In Aus and then against England at home, he came with those knocks only in dead rubbers when there was no pressure left to perform with series lost or out of hands. He has not yet played a convincing knock when the side needs to it at the start of series or when the team needs it badly to stay in the hunt. We also have to see how he deals with prolonged bad form over a couple of series. Right now he is incredibly bad first 2 tests of a series and when it is lost he is blazing away when his survival in the side depends on it! I am not very happy about it!

Very low scoring series for Kohli.
Cant really blame him much though, it was a case of Junaid Khan being too good.
