ffs CT, one more time.

T-R-E-V _ I-S _ N-O-T _ "T-H-E _ P-O-M-S".

Have you got that yet?

btw: Is your real name TIm, by any chance? And have you had a surreal humour by-pass in the last few years? Laughing

Sing when you're winning, disappear tail between legs when there's a sign of defeat, sweepingly generalising "the Poms". Seems familiar ...
when was the first time you told me that. trev is a pom is he not, and like other poms I know he whinges and they whinge so therefore the assumption would be that they being "the poms" to which trev is part of whinge when they lose.

No name not Tim.  I have a different sense of humour didn't by pass me but it appears to have missed you.. lol  fishing

I will sing it out loud when I win when it's against the poms.  no Have other things to concentrate on.    the poms reference to oz is a sweeping generalisation considering only 2 states where ever inhabited by convicts to which where your own countrymen.  the rest of the country were free settlers and indigenous .

Mitch has a whinge about the England batsman backing away when distracted by the crowd.

Apparently Panesar has a calf strain and is unlikely to make the 5th test. So it's either throw Borthwick to the lions, or go with a non-spinning offspinner.

cook was good when he was winning yet he loses one series out of 6 you want to hang him from the rafters and tar and feather him. The aussies did that in previous tests look where it got them nowhere, now when they became cohesive they started winning, the same thing happened when the poms got their act together but jeez!! it didn't take long for that to fall apart and the whinging start.

mind you we still need to get rid of Watson.

Why is it when Aussies start losing, a small minority (one actually) of their posters goes awol like a spoilt, pea-hearted, dim-witted no-mark.
aww don't be like that, now that not nice cos you know, the poms had fun thought it sport to humiliate ruthlessly so its only fitting to come right back and return the favour.

Tredwell it is, then. The perfect end to a perfect tour.

Seems awfully convenient that Monty - who Cook couldn't have made any clearer he didn't much fancy - has picked up a knock just as he seemed set for a run in the side as England's first choice spinner.

Crapinfo reckons that Borthwick is pencilled in to play. So it must be true.

If he is, I can only think it's to be the next Bresnan - picked for his batting, anything he can do with the ball is a bonus.

Fair enough, I suppose. If your spinner's going to get rinsed anyway, you might as well pick the bloke who can contribute in other ways, with the bat and in the field.

Bizarre that they're considering Rankin over Finn. Just how bad a state has he been allowed to get into that he can't be in contention for a dead rubber at the end of a tour in which he's been working with the bowling coach daily for three months? What have they been working on, hairstyles?

Finn is bowling medium pace half-trackers these days. A sorry state of affairs indeed. Seems England have made a mountain out of a molehill in regards to his occasional kicking of the stumps. Happened what- once every three overs? A lot of bowlers overstep the front line that often and no coach really cares. Now Finn is thinking about nothing but where his feet are going, rather than getting the ball down the other end, on a length at speed.

Debutant spinner in last Test of Ashes series? Haven't we been here before?

Let's just pack the batting instead and try and make at least a passable attempt to draw this one. Ballance for Monty, with Stokes and Bairstow dropping down to 7 and 8, then Sturat, Jimmy and whoever they want to make up the numbers in the seam attack. Root to fill in where required as he did in Melbourne.
