Make sense BM - they've paid their dues for years at lower levels and are seemingly very respectful and proud to have belatedly earned (and perhaps this is the operative word that is fundamentally what separates them from the 'superstars') their opportunity to represent their country. Proper old school pros of sorts.

Yeah I do think that's it and I don't think they're alone, you can recognise the less pampered England players, say. Paid their dues and had to beat themselves off rather than getting one of the backroom staff to do it for them. I'm all for the journeymen - hopefully they'll rub off on the big time charlies

Haha - I like it.
The rubbing off bit at the end does sound a little like a promotion of mutual masturbation in the changing room.
Well whatever works I guess. It's the 21st century, tattoos, silly hair and metrosexuality.
Though I pity the poor f*cker who gets cranked off by Cook. I'd imagine his technique would be really mechanical, slow and lacking in any excitement.

Spending many years on the County circuit in England and getting an education in culture has seemingly helped Rogers and Voges not to be loud-mouthed c*ock heads.
Ricky Ponting didn't want either of them in his test side, which says about all you need to know.

Rogers was labelled as someone who "Didn't really fit into the Aussie dressing room." after his test debut in Perth in early 2008. This dressing room contained Hayden, Symonds, Clarke, Ponting, and Johnson.
Voges pissed a few oiks off around 2008 when heaven forbid he refused to cancel his wedding in order to go on a tour of the Caribbean. They went with Brad Hodge, instead.....

.....all of which raised such a God almighty stink that I heard about for the first time exactly three minutes ago.
And didn't Hayden and Symonds play years and years of county cricket also? As did Shane Warne, Steve Waugh, AB and a whole lot of other Australians who didn't exactly make David Cameron look like Paul Hogan?

He only got the year, country and player wrong. Apart from that he was basically correct.

Not only that ... Symonds was born in the UK and had played there for years before he had anything to do with the Australian team. He was just a bit of an arrogant qunt; it was no surprise at all that he was such good mates with Hayden. In the same way, Jimmeh is a qunt and even decades playing with good blokes out here wouldn't change that. Only real life and overcoming adversity can fix that.

Exactly -> Jimmy has been around the England side for years... Disappeared up his own arse years ago. Moeen had to struggle to get into the side for years and he's not a wanker
