Looks like the Tories might lose 10 seats net. Not enough.

Aye. It's gonna be close but maybe the Assassin's state may save the Tories. Mr Dog's state has let the Blues down.

Antony Green (ABC) says its gonna be a long night, but maybe the LNP squeaking home - "Govt has it's nose in front".

And BTW, does anyone know how and why electoral boundaries are redrawn? It throws a wild card into the analysis ever election.

Looking like the polls were right. Libs returned with a reduced majority. Still early days yet.

Not sure about BoP (in HR anyway). The Greens will take one from the Pinkos, Xenophon at least one from the Tories but Palmer's seat will go back to the Tories too. So you'll have something like 2 Greens, 1 NXT, Katter, Wilkie, McGowan and maybe one other somewhere.

The NXT vote in SA is really astonishing. They are a genuine 3rd force.

Credit to Xenophon. He's been a class act for some time. A rare VoR in politics.

Cheers MrK, but at the moment it could be very close between Tories and Pinks in seats won. So if you're right, those 6 or 7 Minors could well hold the balance, unless the Greens say "we vote with the Pinks all the time".

Just shows what I said months ago, farkin Turncoat should've gone to the polls at the beginning of the year. Tories probably would've shit in while the dill was in his honeymoon period.

https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2016/jul/02/tony-abbott-would-have-fought-election-budget-savings

Captain Clueless is on Gloria spelling out what his Captain's pick election strategy would have been.

Truffles has saved the day. A Mad Monk led campaign would have led to a rout.
