Watching it at home in the armchair with the aircon going (its 31c outside) & just pulled a coldie from the fridge. Retirement is a bitch. Twisted Evil

Live from, erm, Yorkshire for a chat with a pissed Matthew Hoggard, who just described the Aussie bowlers as a "much haunted attack".

The f*ck is this bollocks?

Marsh in doubt with a dodgy back ...lets make him crouch all day at bat pad

Wank and Bangers are both exceptional fielders at that position

Is there any thought by Boof and SF about these things?

Maybe the plan is to injure him

Nein just discussing Law changes.

No longer a reset of DRS reviews at 80 overs but teams no longer lose a review if it's umpire's call.

Terrible rule change. It will only encourage more reviews.

Totally incapable of moving the ball. Dorothy would have 2fer. Purple is somewhat over rated.

Seasick looking Captain Queasy already.

Chef looked a walking wicket.

Other than Chef's dismissal, a very good hour for England.

Vince is all style, no substance. Frustrating - he looks class at the wicket. And then he gets out.

Surprised Aussies haven't gone at Stoneman's ribs more.

Just saw this. Spot on. The problem with an injury is stinky Bog will be replaced by Mug Marsh.

Poms on top.

Just an aside: what the hell is Lyon up to, hovering and havering around the batsmen?

I heard a view that Root was doing similar in the last Ashes - though my binoculars at least suggested he was not thus interfering. But linking keeper captain and bowler.

England bats struggling to stay in. Good perseverance at least under heavy tension.

And rather better technique so far than a particular veteran's who departed the stage for all of 2 runs.
