As power grabs go, it's more than a bit limp. I doubt if many of his MP's have any faith in him or even want him to be PM.

If, and it's a big if, he became the head of a caretaker government, should the current clowns outfit resign, he would effectively be hostage to the SNP, the Lib Dems and any other grouping of MP's you care to mention.

Well, you can judge a man by the company he keeps, but it doesn't invalidate my comment. He would be a bit of a paper tiger if he were ever to become PM in this parliament.

All those groups back remain or another referendum which labour is likely to campaign on, with Corbyn backing neither leave or remain.  Populist that he is.  A new, if weak government, would  likely get an extension from the EU as they would hold out hopes for a referendum with a deal attached might reverse the 2016 result.  Would that scenario be preferable despite the dose of poison, in the form of Corbyn,t comes with it?

As you say, he probably wouldn't be able to do too much else in the way of governing thus limiting any damage.

Brexit was a great move for us but the pussies in parliament tried to kill our democratic vote from day one. Trump and Johnson are the best leaders their countries have had for decades. Fact. I can't believe how many undemocratic lefties reside on these pages. Shameful actually.

BJ’s actions now deemed illegal by the Supreme Court.

Unanimous across 11 judges.

The Speaker in now going to recall Parliament. Surely his position is untenable.

The Supreme Court though, is actually nothing of the sort.

That is another reason some people voted leave as a matter of principle.

The real Supreme Court is the European Court of Justice.

There would be a certain irony if Boris were to appeal to that Learned Body Very Happy

I doubt BoZo will fall on his sword.

What are the rules in the HoC about quorum numbers?

Depending on the numbers, BoZo could just direct his troops to not turn up.

A lot of western govts give money to TI.  It does some good work.  It's the Nye Bevan News, architect of the welfare state.  They would find any excuse to stir up anyone who is not a rabid socialist.  Not knocking Nye Bevan, just pointing out the people behind this paper have an agenda.
