Was hoping for India to score 600+ but in the end they proved to be very generous hosts.

I reckon Root has waved two fingers at Stokes and Baz. “I am not a stock bowler. You can gagf, I am scoring at my pace and treating each ball on its merits.”

At 1-275 India were well set for 600.

Both openers out for ducks. One excusable the other mindless and something IMHO that needs to change. Certainly playing there. It's not a Lords road fgs.

Stokes gone (Ashwin again) and at 103/5 surely it’s done.

Another flogging, this time by an innings and change. Thought England were spineless aside from Root who batted well.

Bunter played a T20 knock and seemed to be anxious to get out of Dodge. Maybe someone had baked him a cake.

Hopefully Piggsy at his presser offers his congrats to India on this wonderful series win and the performances of several Indian players.

Won’t be holding my breath.

Anyone else wonder if India lose the first one to keep the TV and bookies happy?
What a complete shambles this has been.

Without an extraordinary innings from Pope in T1, this series would have finished 5-0. So I don’t think the bookies or TV had anything to do with it, just Pope having a day out.

After Pope's brilliant big ton set up England's win early in the series, a 4-1 series loss is an appalling outcome for Blighty.

Too much mindless batting (yes, that farking reverse sweep) left England in trouble in Tests 2 and 3, and by then India had the momentum and England were looking for the boat home.

Jonny (while batting) sledges Gill about telling Jimmeh to retire and then getting out next ball to Jimmeh.

they have a dick waving contest

JB: What did you say to Jimmy about getting tired and he got you out after that?

Gill: So what,it was after 100,how many have you got here?

JB: How many have got,fullstop.

...and then four balls later Jonny gets out

and bowlers are supposed to be the dumb cricketers
