Be just like England to rolled by some pimply teenager playing his first Test...

** shakes head **
** stares at pitch ... again **
** walks off ... runs fingers through hair, looks over his shoulder whilst still shaking head **

** puts another positive in the locker **

Do you smell that? It's Napier son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of Napier in the morning.

Oram no more.

http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/nzveng/content/current/story/343337.html

Wondered if his fragile body would be able to handle all the overs he got through at Wellington. I guess the answer is no.

For a big strong bloke, he doesn't half bowl slow and get injured a lot...

They've called up a Saffie, the cheating bastards.

It's come to something when they can't field a team of born and bred NZers.

Indeed, Rob. Cricket is becoming like rugby with all the flag-of-convenience players. NZ should be ashamed.

Re: Oram ... doesn't he lob them in at 85 mph plus?

Not bad for a 6'4" brick sh!t house with a prop forward frame!!
Poor sod's knees are prolly farked along with his back.

Time the ICC stamped out flag of convenience players ... KP, Strauss, Ambrosia, Symmonds, Hayden (from another planet) et al.
It's bad for the game IMO and keeps the local bred lads frozen out.

Yeah yeah ...... as if !! Razz

Wasn't he speed-gunned at 85 mph??
Thought he was ... followed by Bumble glorifying him for being able to do so ... whilst Atherton (an excellent bowler himself) morosely commented that with Oram's physique, his back would give out first....

I'm open to correction ... Mebbe they were talking about someone else ... :?:

Oram averages around 80 mph with the occasional ball around the 83-84 mph mark.

Vaughan wins the toss for once bounce and chooses to bat.

Now's the time to deliver a big score, no more messing about. Martin is the only Kiwi seamer with a Test wicket to his name, should be fill your boots time for our top six. Watch the youngster Southee run through our top order now... Rolling Eyes
