New Zealand v England, 2nd Test, Wellington, 14-18 March, 2013
Changes?
Apparently* Bracewell is fit to play, but his replacement Wagner did OK.

England will be unchanged. We always are after a poor performance. Wagner's a real trier. He deserves another go in Wellington.

They need someone to bowl into the howling southerly. Southee and Boult are snapweeds and not up to such a task. Wagner looks pretty strong, as is Bracewell.

Bracewell for the spinner, I reckons.
Re: New Zealand v England, 2nd Test, Wellington, 14-18 March, 2013
I'll be surprised if England make any changes. As for NZ, I would have thought that Bracewell will play - at Southee's expense I would have thought as he looked the weakest link of their seam attack.

Southee is England's Anderson of 2003-2007, though. Give him the conditions, and he can be lethal. Depends on the conditions.

He looked as though he would be a serious talent on our last tour - but his pace is down and he looks less than fit.

I think he has been injured recently - wasn't available for all the limited overs games earlier in the tour. I forget why.

While scoring a 150 or so in a Plunkett shield match, no?
No Bracewell for the second test.

I said before the series anything less than 3-0 to England would be a failure. Therefore, we have failed. This match is irrelevant. Drop them all.

NZ are starting to produce some decent young players, their pace bowlers are very solid. I didn't like NZ after they dropped Bond due to ICL reasons but now i am starting to KIND of like their side.

Re: New Zealand v England, 2nd Test, Wellington, 14-18 March, 2013
Eh, what about this though, eh? Nearly 24 hours Test cricket. From an Anglo time point of view it's WI/Zim 1300ish til 2100ish, NZ/Eng 2100ish til 0400ish, Ind/Aus 0400ish til 1100ish.
Good times. Wonder if there's been 24 hours. Probably has. Probably watched most of it myself.
I remember a few months back there was three on at the same time and I was pretty much watching them all. Good times.

Oh, and I see McCullum has lost the plot: "Cook best after Bradman". I reckon he made a bet with his mates that he could get that one out without laughing.
Re: New Zealand v England, 2nd Test, Wellington, 14-18 March, 2013
Snoozies win the toss and send in the best since Bradman.

Welly well well. After looking untroubled, Chef inexplicably chips one Ian Bell style to mid-on. 1-26
