Word is that Pujara is in line for a call for Indian test team for NZ even if Dravid retains his place while Ravinder Jadeja is almost a certainty to be called for Indian ODI team.

Top-3 are,

Rajeev Nayyar 1015m 271 runs
Hanif Mohammad 970m 337 runs
Gary Kirsten 878m 275 runs
jeez...so many batsmen scoring SO many runs

with such lack of grass on the pitches they might as well change tournament's name from Ranji trophy to Ganji trophy

Where did you read that Goel? Pujara is not at all ready for tests in my opinion. He has way too many chinks to iron out against quality pace bowlers.

Why doesn't BCCI send its A team to Australia or SA for a bit of exposure after the Duleep trophy?

Which cricket program? Was it shown on any sports channel or news channel? If latter then which news channel?

Yeh!

Read the report. But Pujara in line for test is inly a speculation with the condition'if he does well in Duleep trophy too.'

Fair enough! Though I have to say that he was not at all convincing against Zaheer and Agarkar on the flattest of flat track.

I read that Bombay retained the same team for final too.

What is the pitch at Hyderabad like?

Bombay vs UP.

It'll be a superb match with Sachin, Rohit, Jaffer,Zaheer, Agarkar and Powar playing for Mumbai and Kaif, Raina, Chawla, Praveen and maybe RP Singh playing for UP.
